This has been a busy week. James had Monday off and so did Marlo for Columbus day so we were brave and took the girls into the city on the metro. I think the train ride its self was their favorite part. We went and saw parts of the American history museum and to the geology section of the natural history museum. They have a map there that shows every earthquake greater than 5.0 on the planet since 1975. It was incredible to see how many there have been. Red blip after blip all over; I think the really amazing part was that fewer people have not been killed by them, but that is no consolation to the people in Pakistan right now.
I took the girls to the ENT on Wednesday and Zoe is scheduled for tubes in her ears this Friday. The doctor says she hears out of both ears as if there is a pillow over her head. I am excited for her hearing to get better- and that it will help with her speech.
Saturday I went to a skills day for the women at church and James took the girls down to the Air and Space museum. It looks like they made paper airplanes- no wonder Zoe has been asking me to make some for her since they got back. They were exhausted when they got home as they had to walk a long way to park.

You've got to have skills. (Napoleon Dynamite reference.) :)
That is a GREAT picture of Zoe! It's really what she looks like. Such a cute girl.
And Marlo's looking big!
I'm SO excited for Zoe. Having had that surgery recently myself, I can totally feel for her. I bet you'll be amazed at how much she progresses. Yay!
