Today Mireya came to clean my house!!! Hooray!!! She is only coming on Wed. and Sat. so far but a little help is so much better than none!! Because she was cleaning the bathrooms I had time to play blocks with Teac. He actually didn't try and knock anything down. I think we have turned a developmental corner. Yesterday we walked to the park and played with a couple of other kids in the sand. Two of them were very excited about smashing the castles (dumped over buckets) but Teac kept getting frustrated with them. He was actually interested in building. Today was the same story. Six months ago there is no way we would have gotten an entire train track and little city set up before Godzilla came to town. Today he gently pushed the train around the track for a good 1/2 hour and helped me build little houses etc. Then when it was time to clean up he had a great time smashing it... but I was relieved that he waited that long.
