Two moments for today's journal.

Moment #1: I was helping Teac go potty when he was watching his poop come out and said, "wow, it's like a space rock!!" I just smiled and agreed with him of course after I repeated it to make sure I really heard what I heard.

Moment #2: I made Mexican Mole for the first time today. It is only the second or third time in my life I have ever eaten it so I didn't have a lot of memories to base the flavor on. But after reading some recipes online I just tried it... and Papi was amazed... he thought it was really good... which is a compliment to be sure. Even the kids (except Teac) ate it without complaint.... with home-made pinto beans, rice, salad and tomatoes for garnish, and tortillas with some lime squeezed on top. It was a relief to make anything yummy and creative because I hit a wall when it came to thinking of what to make tonight. I think I am going to try a baked lemon pasta that Pioneer Woman has on her site next.
