Day 3 on this planet and this is my hair.

Pretty in pink! Grammy came to save us the first week he was born. She was even here when it was time to go to the hospital and saved some of our back-up volunteers a sleepless night. Leave it to your mom to make sure you get candles for your birthday even when Christmas, New Years, and a new baby are fighting for position. The last two weeks have definately been a vacation...except for my body feeling like I was hit by a truck. We are definately going to miss everyone while we are in China.

We are so grateful that grandma could come to help. Everyone was glad for the extra attention.

Just too sweet. At about 10 days old. He is doing so well. At 1 week, he was back up to his birth weight. I look at him now and I can see his cheeks filling out. The poor kid has a rough case of baby acne and with my pink coloring and strawberry hair he is a regular strawberry. Marlo and Zoe are doing so well trying to share me with sleep and their new brother. Zoe is the funniest because out of all of us, she is the only one who comes running if he starts to cry. She gets so worried.."baby brother's crying, baby's crying". Unfortunately she hasn't developed a gentle touch yet and his swing easily turns into an amusement park ride. We are so blessed to have three beautiful healthy children that we actually enjoy being around. My patience does start to wear a little thin at 3 am however. Maybe I will just get so tired that I won't care soon.

This is what I wanted to send for an announcement, but I couldn't get any of the online places to crop it correctly so that his head didn't get chopped off.  Posted by Picasa

I like this one because you get to see how big his paws are. He was only 3 days old in this picture. Posted by Picasa

His shirt says, "Who needs an alarm clock when you have me?" Oh isn't that the truth. We still haven't gotten the sleeping thing worked out. Now that both grandmas are gone, I am going to be hard pressed to get a nap during the day. Posted by Picasa

Ok, how cool is his hair? I am considering trimming it up around the ears...but his side burns are the real killer. Posted by Picasa

Ok, maybe there should be a ruler or something in the picture, but JT's feet fit his 3-6 mos clothes even if the rest of him doesn't yet. Maybe he got the Scott gene? hmmm Posted by Picasa

Ok, not focused but very cute. He is a very happy guy and even at only 3 days old he was laughing in his sleep. Let's hope he keeps it up. Posted by Picasa

I have been offline the last little while. Those of you who know me will be suprised when I tell you I finally ordered birth announcements. Choosing a picture was a different story so I am going to post all of the pictures that didn't make the cut. :)  Posted by Picasa

I was the first baby of the new year. So they put my picture and name in the paper. Hello world, meet James Teancum Fowler VII. I usually just go by J.T. Pops likes to call me Iagito.

By the way, (BTW) Sorry I omited this earlier-
at arrival I was 9 lbs. 12 oz, 21" long with a 14.5" head circumference. My poor mother!
