So I went in for Ethan's 4 mo. check-up and shots yesterday. He weighs 15.2 lbs, is 26 in long, and has a head circ. of 42.2 cm. Which according to the website means: Length = between percentile 75 and 90
Weight = between percentile 25 and 50
Head Circumference = above percentile 95
I think the head one is wrong... but the doctor says he is doing great!
He also got his second round of about 5 shots... poor kid... which also meant that instead of being exhausted, he was up about every 2 hours last night... and do you think he would still be asleep now? of course not. Oh well, some day I will sleep and then my kids will say, "what happened to the walking zombie mommy we used to have?" and I will have absolutely no idea what they are talking about because I won't remember any of those days.
Oh well, time to take care of that sweet, adorable baby some more... and if he goes back to sleep, so am I.

Ethan has started telling stories. It is so fun all of the babbling and smiling he is doing lately. I caught this 1/2 a smile on camera. Usually he will give me a big smile and show off his dimple in his right cheek. Sometimes you can see both dimples but that is rare. Everytime they cross a milestone I think to myself phew, we made it past that one and everything is ok. I think I need to stop since we have a long way to go with all of them.

Teac tried on the pumpkin hat and I couldn't resist. I tried to get him to make a strong man pose and this is the best he could do.... we are going to have to work on it. Lately he has been practicing with his clothes by taking his shirt off. I personally don't think it's warm enough but he seems to be fine.
Another funny thing he did three days ago was start calling himself John. He was looking in the mirror and I asked him who it was he was looking at.... he said "John". I said like Uncle John? and he said yes. And the next day Marlo asked him who he was and he said John.... We said, no, you're Teac and he said "no, I'm John and laughed" like he had just told a really funny joke. Not sure what he is thinking but Johnny should definately take it as a compliment.

Papi had the day off and took part of the time to play blocks with Teac. They made this really tall tower that didn't last very long of course... but it was good bonding.

This is so you can see Ethan in all his chubbiness. He is rolling over both ways and scooting around. Marlo told me he was crawling because he backed himself up against the chair about 3 feet from where he started.

I loved this... we went in an old building under renovation to get out of the rain and it used to be a monastary. These were some of the drawings the monks had made of the flora in the area. I thought they made beautiful wall paper.

This is looking across the square at the first cathedral that we went in. The beautiful mountains in the background and I think you can see some pidgeons. That is our friend Ruth in the foreground and Marlo's little head.

This is the inside of a really old church... Marlo couldn't believe the gold all over the walls and ceiling.

This is looking from their Pres. residence accross the street at an old chapel.

One of the churches up the street... I loved the stripes and cool architecture.

The next day we went to the center of the old town to walk around. It would be like visiting Washington DC and walking around the White House. They were having a big military display in the square for the holliday.

This is after they collected all their loot, had free ice cream, and went through the haunted house.

The different offices around the embassy decorated their halways and went over the top with themes and costumes. This was the entrance to the circus hall way.

They came home from school, ate some good food, did a little make-up touch up and then we went to the embassy for the halloween party.

Elphaba and the Fairy Princess before they went to school on Friday. It was only a 1/2 day and they had a big parade around the school, pot luck parties in their classrooms and lots of candy.
