1 can sliced peaches
1 can apricot halves
1 can pears
1 can pineapple chunks
2 T. butter
1 t. curry powder (or more as desired)
- Drain the fruit, but hold the liquid in reserve
- Melt the butter
- Mix in the curry powder
- Add the fruit and enough liquid so that the mixture is not dry
- Heat until bubbles form, then simmer over low several minutes
- Taste and add more curry, liquid or butter, if desired
Note: Dried apricots, prunes, apples, raisins can be used as well, but they need to be cooked in the liquid from the other fruits first and then added
